PROJECTS FOR THE TRIENNIUM 2006-2009
2007-2008 NATIONAL FUND DRIVE AND
SEARCH FOR MISS GIRL SCOUT (5-AGE LEVELS)
National Fund Drive is a triennial project of the Fund Development Committee which aims to raise money to support the various GSP programs and projects. In tandem with the traditional National Fund Drive, there will be a Search for Miss Twinkler, Miss Star, Miss Junior, Miss Senior and Miss Cadet. The popularity contest is expected to generate greater public awareness of the Girl Scout as an organization helping young girls grow up as responsible and patriotic adults. It also aims to invigorate the school, family and community participation through sponsorship of their chosen candidates. The NFD ticket is sold at P 5.00 per ticket or P 250.00 per booklet.
SILENT AUCTION
Held every two years, the Silent Auction offers various merchandise such as jewelries, accents, paintings, etc. through bidding. The items for sale are donated by GSP friends, supporters and volunteers.
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL & CULTURAL TOUR
Organized by GSP National Headquarters and open to all Girl Scout members and non-members, family ad friends, the tour is usually held in Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia Hongkong, etc.
BALLROOM DANCING
A social gathering for a cause in which the guests enjoy a night of good music and dancing. Usually held in February during Valentines Week.
